Eating Disorders Service – Preston
Cheadle Royal Hospital has recently been appointed by the North West Specialised Commissioning Team to provide specialist inpatient care for people from the North West with an eating disorder. This contract is the first of its kind relating to eating disorders in the north of England and sees the independent sector and NHS working closely together, to build on the expertise of what is currently being provided within the community by the NHS, in offering improved facilities and access to treatment for people with an eating disorder.
Running for five years the new contract will provide inpatient services from Cheadle Royal Hospital in South Manchester, along with a new facility in Preston, due to open in Spring 2009. This will be a new 8 bedded inpatient facility dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders.
We are therefore looking to recruit a team of professionals to work with these patients. Positions available include:

RMN's (Band 5) – Preston

Working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, your role will be to ensure the smooth operation of the unit environment, providing the coordination of high quality evidence based care on an individual and collective basis.
Interested applicants must be a qualified RMN and have a minimum of 12 months post registration experience and possess a good knowledge of eating disorders and the physiological and psychological complications.
Salary: £15.41 per hour
