Affinity's rehabilitation and recovery services are based upon our long experience, which has shown that we can achieve the best patient outcomes through supporting patients within a whole system approach. We have developed a range of specialist rehabilitation services that provide environments and care in different settings, meeting an individual's particular needs at differing points in their journey to recovery. By having a range of specific rehabilitation services on single hospital sites , we have the ability to move patients quickly through the system, avoiding unnecessary delays that can be a feature of transferring within and between other rehabilitation services. Active engagement with home teams in care planning, care delivery and discharge are key to the way we work to ensure the best outcomes for the patients we treat. Our multidisciplinary clinical teams have a breadth of experience in rehabilitation and are led by fully employed specialist consultant psychiatrists.
We actively support gender specific rehabilitative services and are investing in new facilities to ensure this choice is soon available in all our services.
