What We Do

Affinity Healthcare provides complex mental health care services to patients who need our services. Care is normally funded via the NHS and patients can enter our services either for a specific treatment or for a series of treatments across our services. The patient is at the core of everything we do and we support them through the Care Programme Approach (CPA).

For people in our care this means:-

  • One multidisciplinary team providing integrated care and continuity of the therapeutic relationship
  • Care focused on achieving the best possible outcomes
  • A sense of success from moving through services towards more independent living
  • Pro-active patient management rather than reactive support
  • Highly individualised care programmes
  • Treatment plans which will be quickly modified if patient circumstances change
  • An emphasis on self-reliance and a smooth return to independent living
  • A more appropriate therapeutic service for those previously 'stuck' in services

For referrers and purchasers this means:-

  • Ability to treat more challenging and complex patients by an experienced and integrated multidisciplinary team operating on the same hospital site
  • A single point of communication throughout various stages of a patient's illness
  • The use of the most appropriate therapeutic environment - so as to minimise length of stay
  • The active involvement of the referrer/purchaser at all stages of the care pathway
  • A range of pricing options to suit the purchasing requirements of the commissioner; including fully inclusive pricing schedules with no 'extra' fees for special nursing, assessment or routine therapeutic interventions.

Affinity Healthcare offers a broad range of inpatient, outpatient and day services.
